Many aluminum castings, especially aerospace and automotive applications require 5-axis machining capability to machine complex shapes, undercuts and difficult angles. Our trunnion machine provides full simultaneous 5-axis motion, or can position a workpiece to almost any angle for 5-side machining. We are able to significantly reduce the number of set ups, tooling fixtures and labor time. The results are lower machining costs and greater dimensional stability for machined features. |
