Foundry Sand Mold Maker.
Job Description. Making sand molds from a machined pattern for building metal cast parts. On the job Training. Assisting with preparation of metal for pouring into molds. Assistance with separating poured molds and parts from the sand. Following instructions applying knowledge of variables, like metal characteristics, molding using hand or pneumatic ramming tools, and pouring procedures.
Requirements:
Foundry experience a plus. Attention to detail, and desire to learn, physical strength, good working attitude and ability work with others.
Pay is dependent on experience and ability to learn.
