Foundry Automated Sand Molder

Location: Duvall, WA 98019
Learn and efficiently operate our Sinto Automated Molding System with PLC, (Programable Logic Control). Perform various tasks to include making molds, setting sand cores into molds, making molding sand PLC controlled mullor, performing preventative maintenance on system, pouring aluminum into molds, making cores and other foundry tasks. Below is a representation of what is expected.
Job Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Possess or ability to learn sand molding process. The system is PLC (Programable Process Controlled) Easy to learn and understand and we will train.
Ability to follow process plans and communicate process issues.
Ability to see problems / determine defects and communicate any issues.
Follow oral and written instructions and or directions given by supervisor to complete assigned work projects.
Ability to proactively troubleshoot problems.
Work as a team within department and with other departments and leads.
Ensure the work area is kept clean and safe.
Other duties may be assigned as needed this is not a complete list.
On the job training is provided to acquire skill sets in various jobs. People may find a niche in one or more specific foundry operations as we do not expect you to learn all processes.
Requirements:
Be on time and ready to work. Willingness to learn new skills and work.
Work Environment:
Typical manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and sand. Eye protection and hearing protection is a must.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
Physical capacity to properly handle tooling and molds.
